Description
Hosta Kiwi Spearmint makes a spectacular emergence in spring with leaves that are almost completely white with a thin wavy green margin. The foliage does not disappoint as the season progresses, the veins of the leaf turn green and the leaf is speckled with green, further along the leaves are almost all green giving amazing display of foliage. In the summer, pale lavender flowers appear above the fantastic foliage on long slender stems.
Fantastic planted in and among other perennials in beds and borders in a shaded garden. It is particularly effective when used as a foil for other plants, groundcover or to underplant shrubs and roses. Fantastic for city and cottage gardens alike, it can also add a wow factor to your container garden, patio or balcony.
Easy to grow and maintain, it's lovely shape reaches heights of around 30cm and a spread 50cm.
Plant in a position of shade/partial shade into fertile, moist and well drained soil. Remove spent foliage as required and clear up dead foliage when it dies back at the end of the growing season.
