Description
Hosta White Dove is a fantastic smaller sized hosta with especially nice pure white margins once it loses it's early-spring colour. Its flowers do not disappoint, tall but dainty spikes of white flowers rise above the glossy, narrow bluish-green leaves with the distinctive white edges, that are slightly rippled, narrow and arching.
This showy hosta is fantastic for edging a boarder and planted in and among other perennials in a shaded garden. It adds a real wow factor to a container garden, patio or balcony. Fantastic for city and cottage gardens alike, it is a wonderful addition to any type of garden.
Easy to grow and maintain, it's lovely shape reaches heights of around 35cm and a spread 50cm.
Plant in a position of shade/partial shade (while it will tolerate early morning sun, keep it away from any long-lasting intense sunshine), into fertile, moist and well drained soil. Remove spent foliage as required and clear up dead foliage when it dies back at the end of the growing season.
